Trainees should have 

- a minimum N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent earlier certication; orN/SVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilating (Domestic Installation) or equivalent earlier certication; or N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilating (Industrial and Commercial Installation) or equivalent earlier certication; or N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Oil-Fired Technical Services or equivalent earlier certication; or N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Gas Installation and Maintenance or equivalent earlier certication; or Heating installers with minimum 3 years of experience installing wet central heating systems, evidenced either by manufacturer courses certication or Gas Safe Register, OFTEC, MCS or HETAS registration

**AND if not included in the above qualication**

- Low Temperature Heating Water Regulations/Water Byelaws Stand-alone technical certicates/Vocationally Related Qualications (VRQ) (non-competency based) are NOT acceptable

The training manual allows you to study in your own time, at your own pace, to reduce the time spent on the training course to a minimum. It is important that you study the content of the manual prior to attending the course to ensure that you are properly prepared and can take part in discussions during the course.

Domestic Air Source Heat Pump 3 day Course

This course is recommended to those with some experience of inspection and testing who would like to become qualified. If you don’t have any experience we would recommend starting with the Level 2 course.

This EAL Level 3 award 603/2625/6 has been put together to replace the old City & Guilds 2391 qualification which has now expired. It is an alternative qualification to the City & Guilds 2391-52 electrical course. All the exams and assessments associated with this EAL course are undertaken before you leave the training centre, to give you the best chance of getting the result you deserve.

EAL here are an awarding body, equivalent to City & Guilds. This qualification is recognised by Ofqual and accepted by employers in the industry and the Part P Scheme Providers.

The objective of the EAL Inspection and Testing Course is to give you a good understanding of the theory and practices required to do both a periodic inspection and initial verification, and commissioning of electrical installations. The course will improve both your inspection, testing and periodic inspection skills.

This course aims to help plumbers and heating engineers who want to install Vented and Unvented Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems to comply with the appropriate Building Regulations and Standards.

Trainees must hold a recognised trade qualification e.g. NVQ/SNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating, or Domestic Heating, which will include Water Regulations, or be working towards one and hold Water Regulations or have evidence of a number of years experience in the plumbing or heating industry and hold Water Regulations.
