**Heat Pump Technology and Domestic Air Source Heat Pump Course.**

Trainees should have a minimum N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent earlier certication; orN/SVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilating (Domestic Installation) or equivalent earlier certication; or N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilating (Industrial and Commercial Installation) or equivalent earlier certication; or N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Oil-Fired Technical Services or equivalent earlier certication; or N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Gas Installation and Maintenance or equivalent earlier certication; or Heating installers with minimum 3 years of experience installing wet central heating systems, evidenced either by manufacturer courses certication or Gas Safe Register, OFTEC, MCS or HETAS registration

**AND if not included in the above qualication**

- Water Regulations/Water Byelaws
- Low Temperature Hot Water Systems
- Stand-alone technical certicates/Vocationally Related Qualications (VRQ) (non-competency based)\
  are **NOT** acceptable

Recognised as a demonstration of competence for the Microgeneration Certication Scheme (MCS).

CCN1 (inc CPA1), CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1

You can swap CKR1 or HTR1 for MET1 if required.

This course aims to help plumbers and heating engineers who want to install Vented and Unvented Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems to comply with the appropriate Building Regulations and Standards.

Trainees must hold a recognised trade qualification e.g. NVQ/SNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating, or Domestic Heating, which will include Water Regulations, or be working towards one and hold Water Regulations or have evidence of a number of years experience in the plumbing or heating industry and hold Water Regulations.
